Boston Globe Calls Butter’s Fine Food & Wine ‘A Top Cheese Shop in New England’

In an article written by the Boston Globe’s Travel Section correspondent writer Victoria Abbott Riccardi (See Boston Globe’s Travel Section April 24th, 2011), Butter’s Fine Food and Wine was noted as one of New England’s top cheese shops.
Victoria wrote, “Here are some of New England’s top cheese shops — places where the owners buy the best domestic and imported cheeses, age each one to perfection, and then, after offering plenty of tastes, cut and wrap your selections, complete with tips on how best to enjoy them.”
Along with the likes of Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, MA, Wasik’s The Cheese Shop in Wellesley, MA, Rubiner’s Cheesemongers & Grocers in Barrington, MA, Butter’s Fine Food and Wine in Concord, NH is now in the company of the most elite cheese shops, not only in New England, but in the country.

Butter’s Fine Food and Wine has also been noted as one of the best cheese shops and best wine shops by the Hippo Press readers. New Hampshire Magazine has noted Butter’s Fine Food and Wine for the best Gourmet Sandwiches in 2010 and Best Gourmet Cakes 2009. The whisper rumor is that New Hampshire Magazine’s readers have picked Butter’s Fine Food and Wine as the best wine shop in New Hampshire, but the official word has not been received yet.
